As we can see below the first iPhone was released in 2007 which was quite small 3.5" to be exact. but this year Apple has announced the newest model for iPhone which is the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus which was introduced on Sept. 9,2014 (Tuesday) by Apple's CEO, Tim Crook.
iPhone 6 is bigger than it's predecessor, iPhone 5C and the iPhone 6 plus is a phablet-sized phone. Let's spot the difference between these two by looking at their specs and features.
iPhone has increased in size than iPhone 5C, from 4 inches it became to 4.7 inches. But it is smaller than it's competitors such as Samsung's Galaxy S5 5.1", the HTC One M8 5", and the Moto X which is 5.2".
In iPhone 6 plus however it falls in to the phablet (phone and also tablet) category and the screen is 5.5 inches which is the same as LG G 3 but smaller than Samsung Galaxy Note 5.7 inches.
Other handsets may have come with styli, iPhone 6 plus does not have one for a reason than Steve Jobs hated styli. But Apple has a new function solution which is shown in the iPhone 6 plus. Now it can work in landscape mode for the first time in iPhone history.
Camera and It's Resolutions
The new iPhones have been qualified for Apple's new Retina HD moniker. iPhone 6 has lower resolution of 1,344 X 750 with 326 ppi and the iPhone 6 Plus have 1,920 X 1,080 resolution with 401 ppi.
These model have received an upgraded feature of 2.1 MP front-facing shooter and 8 MP rear-facing camera. but the iPhone 6 Plus has more advantage for optical image stabilization, which a improvement over the iPhone 6's digital image stabilization.
Battery Life
Both models have upgraded battery life although iPhone 6 Plus have been tested with the more striking battery life that supposedly can last for 16 days of standby, 80 hours of audio, 14 hours of video streaming and 12 hours of internet use.
But the iPhone 6 can last up to 10 days of standby, 50 hours of audio, 11 hours of video streaming and 10 to 11 hours of internet usage but this is depends of the type of connection.
Thickness and Weight
Even though the two handset models are different especially the iPhone 6 Plus is much larger than iPhone 6, but these two are close similar when it comes to thickness and weight. It is said that the iPhone 6 Plus is a .28 inches thicker about a hair thick than the .27 inch iPhone 6. But the iPhone 6 Plus is much more sturdier that weighs in 6.07 ounces and the iPhone 6 is just 4.55 ounces.
Pricing
iPhone 6 still has the similar price as it's predecessor for a two-year contract on the 16GB model the price beginning at $199. As your want your memory of your iPhone bigger so will be the price. For example 64 GB model will begin at $299 and the biggest 128 GB will be cost $399.
I am not an iPhone fan, they are too expensive. You can buy a cheaper phone with almost the same specs.
