Dingdong Dantes asks Marian Rivera to be his forever

Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.  The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman, ' for she was taken out of man."  For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh. - Genesis 2:22-24

This verse doesn't really mean that man has fewer rib bones than women. Men and women have the same rib bone count of course. It also is related to the series "Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang" in english The girl from my ribs or the girl pulled out from my ribs. Aired on GMA network from February 2, 2009 – May 29, 2009. The stars for this show is long-time couple (on-screen/off-screen) Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes.

News circulating around that this couple is officially engaged. The proposal was on the birthday celebration episode of "Marian" which is Aug. 9,2014. 

It is said that Dingdong Dantes was one of the special guests of the show. He presented a slideshow of all their pictures together and asked Marian to identify each one of it. After the "interview", Dingdong went to his knees and asked Marian to be wife. Of course, the Kung-fu diva said yes! 

The event was closed with sealed it with a kiss and their last dance as bf-gf. 

This is truly a start for the lovely couple. They may face many challenges in their lives but if they let God be the center of their lives then it will be a blessed union.
